Surili brings experience in governance, gender, rural livelihoods, data analytics, program evaluation, and community development work in India and other developing countries. Prior to joining IMAGO, she served as Manager for IDinsight, in the Concurrent Evaluation Cell for the Andhra Pradesh Society for the Elimination of Rural Poverty (Ministry of Rural Development) and for various other governance-related projects. She has also worked with the MIT Poverty Action Lab (J-PAL South Asia), the Affordable Housing Institute, and the Busara Center for Behavioral Economics in Kenya.
Surili holds a B.S. in Economics and Political Science from The Ohio State University and a Masters in Public Administration, International Development (MPA/ID) from the Harvard Kennedy School.
